Personal: I am married to my wife Jodi and have 3 amazing sons. My first and only hole-in-one occurred on the 8th hole at Palmer Hills! I started playing the game of golf when I was 5, played mostly with my father and brother growing up. I love many aspects of golf, I loving being on the course with other people and getting to know them through the game. I enjoy the time spent outdoors on the course and squeezing in a round two by myself.

Name: Phil Rothmann

Position: The Back 9 Host

BACKGROUND: Avid Golfer, I should be a lot better for how much I play.

Home Course: It has to be Reid Municipal. I try and play all around Northeast Wisconsin however, year-in and year-out – I play Reid the most.

DRIVER: Nike VR_S Covert 2.0 Tour
FAIRWAY: Cleveland Launcher
RESCUE/HYBRIDS: Do not play one
IRONS: Taylor Made RocketBladz (3 – PW)
WEDGES: Cleveland 588 RTX (52°, 56°, 60°)
PUTTER: Excalibur Purtech Putter

Personal: I first became interested in the game of golf while watching Ben Crenshaw drop to his knees after winning the 1995 Masters. I played two years right-handed before convincing my dad I was serious about the game and he purchased me a left-handed junior set. I am a natural Lefty and wanted to play from that side of the ball. I played two seasons as a lefty before making my High School Golf Team.

I tend to play an aggressive “go for broke” style that more often than not, ends in disaster. The allure of the game for me is that no matter how well I play; there is always room for improvement. I love the challenges that a golf course presents throughout a round and the decision-making needed to maneuver around the links.

Yearly Rounds Played: 20-35
