Brewers win series opener over the Cubs

Milwaukee got back to their winning ways after knocking off the Chicago Cubs 3-1 at  Wrigley Field on Monday night.  Mark Reynolds belted out his 20th home run of the season while Khris Davis and Scooter Gennett each tallied RBI base-hits.  Starting pitcher Yovani Gallardo (7-6) threw for seven innings, six strikeouts, allowed one earned-run and got the win.  Closer Francisco Rodriguez pitched a scoreless ninth inning to recorded his league leading 36th save.  The Brewers improved to 66-53 and will play game two of the four-game series against the Cubs at Chicago on Tuesday night.  You can hear that game on 1150-WHBY with pre-game at 6:30pm and first-pitch at 7:05pm.
