Brewers finish off Mets

The Milwaukee Brewers pushed their record to 59-46 on the season with a 5-2 win over the New York Mets at Miller Park on Saturday.  Mark Reynolds added his 17th home run of the year as he and Ryan Braun both collected two hits to lead the way.  Wily Peralta (12-6) picked up the win after pitching 5 2/3 innings, with two-earned runs given up on six hits and three walks.  Francisco Rodriguez also closed out his 30th save of the season to redeem himself after a blown save opportunity on Friday.  Jonathon Niese (5-6) took the loss after giving up three-earned runs in five innings pitched for the Mets.

The Brewers wrap up the series on Sunday against the Mets.  Pregame begins at 12:35pm, with first pitch at 1:10pm on 1150-WHBY.
