Mets steal win from Brewers

Francisco Rodriguez was pitching for his 30th save of the season, but would be denied after giving up three runs in the ninth inning to hand the New York Mets a 3-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park on Friday night.  Yovani Gallardo and Will Smith had pitched eight shutout innings before Rodriguez (4-4) gave up an RBI single and two-run homer to David Wright and Lucas Duda respectively to steal the win.  The Brewers had struck first in the sixth inning as Aramis Ramirez grounded into an RBI fielder's choice.  Carlos Gomez then pushed the lead 2-0 in the seventh with a solo home run to center.  With the loss, the Brewers record falls to 58-46 on the season.

The Brewers again face the Mets on Saturday.  Pregame begins at 5:35pm, with first pitch at 6:10pm on 1150-WHBY.
