Brewers knock off the Reds

The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Cincinnati Reds 5-2 at Miller Park on Monday night.  Ryan Braun got back on track going two for four with a two-RBI double. Jean Segura went two for three including a triple and then scored on an error during the play.  Starting pitcher Wily Peralta (11-6) pitched seven innings, struck out five, allowed one earned-run in the win.  Closer Francisco Rodriguez pitched a scoreless ninth inning for his 29th save this season.  The Brewers go to 55-45 and will play game two of the three-game series against the Reds at Miller Park on Tuesday night.  You can hear that game on 1150-WHBY with pre-game at 6:35pm and first-pitch at 7:10pm.
