Brewers win the series opener over the Nationals

Milwaukee won their first game after the All-Star break by beating the Washington Nationals 4-2 at Nationals Park on Friday night.  Aramis Ramirez led the Brewers going 1 for 4 with a two RBI single.  Scooter Gennett and Khris Davis each knocked out a home run.  Pitcher Kyle Lohse (9-4) pitched seven innings, struck out three, allowed one earned-run and took the loss.  Closer Francisco Rodriguez pitched the ninth inning and recorded his 28th save this season.  Milwaukee improved to 54-43 and will play game two of the three-game series with Washington at Nationals Park on Saturday night.  You can hear that game on 1150-WHBY with pre-game at 5:30pm and first-pitch at 6:05pm.
