Brewers Snap 7 Game Losing Streak! Head to All Star Break in 1st

The Milwaukee Brewers ended their 1st half of the season whipping the St. Louis Cardinals 11-2. Elian Herrrera lead the 19 hit Brewers attack with his first 5 hit game of his career. Wily Peralta held the Cards to 1 run in 7 innings pitched to earn his 10th win of the season. The Brewers will head to the All Star break with a 1 game lead over St. Louis and 1.5 game lead over the Reds. The win snaps a season long seven game losing streak for the Brewers. The All Star Game will be Tuesday night in Minnesota, Carlos Gomez, Aramis Ramirez and Jonathan Lucroy will all start for the National League. The Brewers will return to action Friday night when they travel to Washington DC to take on the Nationals.
