Long Ball Continues to Hurt Estrada. Mets beat up Brewers 6-2
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Marco Estrada gave up two more home runs Tuesday night in New York as the Mets beat the Brewers 6-2. David Murphy hit a two run home run to give the Mets a 2-0 lead in the 3rd inning and after Estrada walked the bases loaded, Taylor Teagarden made him pay with a grand slam in the 6th inning to right. On the season, Estrada has given up 20 home runs on the season, by far, the most in the major leagues. With the loss, Estrada falls to 5-3 and the Brewers are now 38 and 27. The same two teams plays once again Wednesday night, first pitch is at 6:10pm.
