Packers Family Night no longer a scrimmage

The Green Bay Packers announced, Thursday that this year’s Family Night would be held Saturday, August 2nd at Lambeau Field.  As in past years, tickets are $10 per person. 

This years practice will be different than years past as the team is dropping the “scrimmage” format and just having a regular practice.  Last season, starting left tackle Bryan Bulaga tore his ACL and was lost for the season during the Family Night Scrimmage.

According to the release, the event begins at 5:30 and will benefit the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program.  Parking for the event is $5 and the net proceeds will go to the program. 

The event will be televised statewide for those that can’t make the event.
