Brewers Bounce Back; Use Long Ball to Beat Marlins

Mark Reynolds hit two 2-run home runs in consecutive innings and Khris Davis added a 448 foot solo blast, as Milwaukee beat Miami 9-5 Friday night.  Brewers starter Marco Estrada  gave up four home runs on the night as Giancarlo Stanton and Garrett Jones hit two solo homers apiece for Miami.  The teams combined for seven homers, the most since the pitcher-friendly ballpark opened in 2012.  Carlos Gomez went 4-5 with three doubles and two rbi, but did show signs his back was still bothering him on the base paths.  After Estrada exited with two outs in the 7th the Crew's bullpen surrendered just two hits the rest of the way.  With the win and a loss by the Cardinals, Milwaukee pushed its lead to 2.5 games ahead of St. Louis for top spot in the NL Central.  Game 2 of the three game series gets underway at 2:35 p.m. with the pre-game show, first pitch is slated for 3:10 p.m.
