Bucks hope to land #1 pick

The Milwaukee Bucks will find out Tuesday night where they will be picking in the 2014 NBA draft as the league conducts its Draft Lottery.

With an NBA worse 15-67 record this past season, the Bucks have 25% chance for the top overall the pick.   That is the highest odds in the league.  After Milwaukee, Philadelphia (19.9%), Orlando (15.6%) and Utah (10.4%) have then next best odds.

Since the draft lottery was first conducted in 1985, the team with the best odds has been awarded the top pick only four times.  The most recent instance was in 2004 when Orlando won the 1st pick (Dwight Howard).

Milwaukee has won the lottery twice in franchise history; 1994 (Glenn Robinson) and 2005 (Andrew Bogut).

Only the top-3 picks are determined by the lottery, after that is goes by worse record guaranteeing the Bucks no lower than the 4th pick.  Based on the numbers, Milwaukee has a 21.49% chance of landing the #2 pick, 17.75% chance of landing #3, and 35.76% chance of selecting 4th.
