Packers add 12-undrafted free agents, announce off-season dates

After selecting nine players in last week’s NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers added twelve more players to their 2014 rookie class.

Chase Rettig becomes the fourth quarterback on the Packers roster.  Rettig started four seasons at Boston College.  He is joined on offense by a pair of running backs, Rajon Neal from Tennessee and LaDarius Perkins from Mississippi State, Justin Perillo, a tight end from Maine and Jordan McCray, a guard from Central Florida.

Leading the list of seven defensive players were four linebackers:  Jake Doughty from Utah State, Jayrone Elliot from Toledo, Adrian Hubbard from Alabama, and Joe Thomas from South Carolina State.  The other three players are defensive end Carlos Gray from North Carolina State, defensive tackle Mike Pennel from Colorado State-Pueblo, and cornerback Ryan White from Auburn.

The Packers are holding Rookie Orientation Camp this week.  After that, the team will hold a series of OTAs leading up to mandatory Mini Camp June 17th-19th.  From there the players will have over a month off before reporting back to Green Bay July 25th.  Training camp begins July 26th.
