D-Backs Rally Past Brewers
Aaron Hill hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning after Miguel Montero had a tying single, rallying the Arizona Diamondbacks past the Milwaukee Brewers 7-5 Tuesday night. Paul Goldschmidt and Chris Owings also homered for Arizona, which has won five of its last seven games on the road. Brewers pitcher Brandon Kintzler gave up the three runs in the eighth and for the second time in as many opportunities was unable to hold a lead in the 8th inning. Sunday Kintzler gave up a game tying homer to the Red's Brandon Phillips. The Brewers offense notched a five run first inning, however four of the runs were unearned thanks in part to a two out error by D-Backs shortstop Owings. Starter Josh Collmenter and the Arizona bullpen held the Crew scoreless the rest of the way in route to the victory. Collmenter left with two outs in the 6th and the Brewers offense didn't register a hit the rest fo the game. Milwaukee and Arizona wrap-up the series tommorrow, first pitch is set for 12:10 P.M.
