Brewers win at home

Brewers knocked off the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-3 at Miller Park on Monday night.  Milwaukee was led by Carlos Gomez batting 2-for-2 with a home run, three RBI, and walked three times. Martin Maldonado also belted a home run for the Brewers. Pitcher Matt Garza (2-3) went for six innings, five strikeouts, allowed three earned-runs, and recorded the win.  Milwaukee improved to 22-11 and will play game two of the three-game series against Arizona on Tuesday night at Miller Park.  You can hear that game on 1150-WHBY with pre-game at 6:35pm and first-pitch at 7:10pm.
