Cardinals Silence Brewers Bats Once Again

For the second straight night, the Milwaukee Brewers bats were silenced by the St, Louis Cardinals pitching staff. Shelby Miller allowed only one run and struck out seven as the Cards defeated the Brewers 6-1. After winning nine straight, the Brewers now have lost two in a row. In two games, the Brewers have scored only one run, that coming on Aramis Ramirez home run. Marco Estrada took the loss for the Brewers and Jim Henderson allowed three runs in the top of the ninth allowing two home runs to St. Louis. The Brewers hope to salvage one of the three games when the two teams play day baseball on Wednesday. First pitch is at 12:10pm.
