10 in a Row for the Brewers? Not in the Cards

Lance Lynn pitched 7 shutout innings and John Jay hit a three run home run off of Matt Garza to give the St. Louis Cardinals a 4-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Monday night at Miller Park. The loss snaps the Brewers nine game winning streak. The Brewers have yet to score in two Miller Park starts for Garza who fell to 0-2 on the season. Lynn struck out 11 Brewers and allowed only 3 hits in 7 innings of work. The Brewers will try and start a new winning streak on Tuesday night when they host the Cards once again. Marco Estrada will get the starting nod for the Brewers.
