Bucks drop 6th straight against Pacer reserves

The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Indiana Pacer reserves 104-102 last night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.  The loss is the 6th straight and 14th in the last 15 games for the Bucks (14-64).

Indiana coach Frank Vogel started his reserves and benched his usual starters for the entire game.  Not only did it work, the Pacers moved back out in front of the Miami Heat by a half game for the best record in the Eastern Conference.  The Heat fell last night to Memphis.

The Pacers and Heat will meet on Friday night in Miami.

Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton was fouled on a three-point attempt with 4.9 seconds left.  He made all three free throws to tie the game 102-102.

Indiana’s 6-8 guard Chris Copeland’s driving layup with 1.2 seconds left gave the Pacers the win.

Luis Scola scored a season-high 24 points, Evan Turner added 23 and Copeland 18 for the Pacers.

Brandon Knight had 25 points and 10 assists to lead the Bucks.  Ramon Sessions added 20 points.

The Bucks have four games left in the regular season.  They’ll host Cleveland on Friday night.
