Wisconsin Loses Heartbreaker to Kentucky at Final Four

Aaron Harrison hit a 25 foot three pointer with 5.7 seconds left to give the #8 seed Kentucky Wildcats a 74-73 win over the #2 seed Wisconsin Badgers. The Badgers Traevon Jackson missed an open jumper at the buzzer sending Kentucky to the championship game versus U Conn. The Badgers lead by many as 9 points in the first half and after a Sam Dekker 3 pointer early in the second half they lead by seven before Kentucky went on a 15-0 run to give them an 8 point lead. Jackson made 2 of 3 free throws with 16 seconds left gave the Badgers a 2 point lead. The one miss was the only miss of the night for Wisconsin as they shot 19 for 20 on the night. However, for the second straight game Harrison was the hero as he hit the contested 3 to give the Wildcats the one point lead. Sam Dekker and Ben Brust lead the Badgers with 15 points each. Wisconsin ends their season with a 30-8 record.
