Badgers Slow Start Costs them in Big Ten Tournament

The 12th ranked Wisconsin Badgers shot 60% in the second half and scored 49 points in the half. The problem was the Badgers shot only 29% in the first half and fell behind Michigan State by as many as 21 points on Saturday as the Spartans advance to the tournament final with a 83-75 win over Wisconsin. Frank Kaminsky lead all scorers with 28 points. However, all five Spartans starters scored in double digits, lead by Senior Adrein Payne with 18. Michigan State was red hot in the first half shooting an outstanding 65%. Michigan State will take on Michigan in the tournament championship tomorrow afternoon. Wisconsin is now 26 and 7. They will find out who and where they play in the NCAA tournament tomorrow afternoon.
