Bucks fall to Hawks in Atlanta

Kyle Korver’s go-ahead three-pointer gave the Atlanta Hawks a 90-89 lead with 2:15 to play.  The Hawks made that lead standup, on the way to a 102-97 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night in Atlanta.

Hawks point guard Jeff Teague scored 22 points as Atlanta won back-to-back games for the first time in six weeks.  The Bucks (13-52), haven’t won back-t0-back games this season.

The Bucks jumped out to a good start, hitting 20 of their first 35 shots and building a 53-40 lead late in the second quarter.  But the Bucks then hit four of their next 30 shots over the 2nd and third quarters.

Ersan Ilyasova had 22 points and 10 rebounds and Brandon Knight added 20 points for the Bucks in the loss.

Bucks sign Wright

The Milwaukee Bucks signed free-agent forward Chris Wright (6’8, 225) to a 10-day contract.

Wright joins the Bucks from the D-League’s Maine Red Claws, where he’s appeared in 38 games this season, averaging 19.5 points and 8.1 rebounds a game.
