Badgers Road Win Streak Now 4 After Big Win in Iowa
Frank Kaminsky lead the way with 21 points on Saturday as the 16th ranked Wisconsin Badgers knocked off 15th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes 79-74 in Iowa City. Wisconsin shot a sizzling 57% in the 1st half to take a 40-31 lead into the locker room. But Iowa came back and took a four point lead with about 4 minutes to go before the Badgers went on a run to end the game. Sam Dekker had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Badgers. Josh Gasser hit 4 three pointers for Wisconsin including some clutch shots in the second half. Freshmen Bronson Koenig had his best game as a Badger with 12 points. With the win, Wisconsin has won their past four games on the road in the Big Ten and have a 9-5 record in conference play and they are 22-5 overall. Wisconsin is now in 3rd place in the conference. They return home Tuesday night and host the Indiana Hoosiers. Tip off is at 8:00pm.
