Marquette Crushed on the Road in the Big Apple

Marquette jumped out to a 6-0 lead at St. John's before St. John's went on a 33-14 run to end the first half. It got worse for Marquette in the second half as they fell behind by 23 points. St. John's goes on for the 74-59 win at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Derrick Wilson lead the Golden Eagles with 14 points. D'Angelo Harrison lead all scorers with 27 points. With the loss, Marquette is now 12-10 on the season and they fall to 4-5 in the Big East. Marquette will try to bounce back when they host Butler Tuesday night in Milwaukee.
