Ice Cold Badgers lose to Northwestern in Madison
The 14th ranked Wisconsin Badgers shot an embarrassing 26% from the field and went 12 minutes in the second half between field goals on Wednesday night as the Northwestern Wildcats shocked the Badgers 65-56 at the Kohl Center. It is the first time since 1996 that the Wildcats have won in Madison. They were lead by Drew Crawford who scored a game high 30 points. It is hard to win when Traevon Jackson shoots 2-12, Sam Dekker 2-9, Frank Kaminsky 3-9 and Josh Gasser 0-4. Ben Brust lead the Badgers with 21 points. Wisconsin will try to bounce back on Saturday when they host Ohio State who also lost at home on Wednesday to Penn State. Tip off is at 11:00am.
