Badger Hoops Outlast Iowa in Heated Battle

It was a frigid night outside in Madison, but heated inside the Kohl Center on Sunday as the Wisconsin Badgers edged the Iowa Hawkeyes 75-71 to move to 15-0. The Badgers trailed by 11 at the half, but put together a rapid second-half comeback that was aided by two technical fouls, and the subsequent ejection, of Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery for bumping an official while arguing a call. Ben Brust led the Badgers with 19 points, all scored in the second half.  UW will aim for a 16-0 start to the season on Wednesday night when they host Illinois.  Pre-game begins at 7:00 p.m. on WHBY with tip at 8:00.
