This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, March 9th, 2016. Host Marc Drewek would welcome back on an old friend of the show, now former Wisconsin DNR Warden Mike Young. Marc also brought back Steve Dabler of Wolf River Game Farm near Shiocton, WI. The guys would get into spring bird hunting for the hour, and shared their various experiences in bird hunting. Later on they brought up an event coming up this weekend Saturday March 12th at Wolf River Game Farm called the Ron and Ron's Pheasant/Chucker Championship, and talked about what it entails along with how you can participate in this awesome event.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016. Host Marc Drewek welcomed back his outdoors sidekick Randy Brochtrup, to share their thoughts and opinions on a variety of outdoor related topics for the hour. Among the topics discussed were: the wrap of the 2016 sturgeon spearing season, the new Wisconsin DNR "Go Wild" license system, the Oscar-nominated movie The Revenant, and the 2016 Iditarod in Alaska beginning this weekend. Defending Iditarod champion Dallas Seavey will look for another title in Alaska as his sponsor and friend of the show J.J. Keller will be there again for the weeklong race.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, February 24th, 2016. Host Marc Drewek would start things off talking ice fishing, and the current conditions to be aware of around the Winnebago system. Marc then brought on Lee Haasch, of Haasch Guide Service in Algoma Wisconsin, to talk ice fishing with us and also what his guide service has to offer. Marc later replayed an interview he had with Duffy kopf of Nebulus Emergency Floatation, talking ice safety and what Nebulus has to offer for products to help protect you when out on the ice. Marc would then wrap up with some early turkey hunting chatter with Scott Roon, organizer of the upcoming Learn to Turkey Hunt program that's happening April 2nd. Scott shared with us his passion for turkey hunting and how he's able to share it through the upcoming turkey hunt also put on by Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, February 17th, 2016. Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson joined host Marc Drewek for your monthly "Ask a Game Warden" show. Your chance to be heard on outdoor related topics with your questions and comments as the winter outdoors season continues. The guys started off talking about the sturgeon spearing season currently happening on the Winnebago system. They touched on the harvest numbers, along with what the current conditions are and what to expect going foward. They also spent a good amount of time talking about the new licencing system that's beginning March 1st called Go Wild, that can be previewed at the Wisconsin DNR website. Later, they also touched on the upcoming mentored adult turkey hunt on April 2nd, with a classroom session scheduled for March 18th. The guys then wrapped up talking about the current investigation into the recently poached deer near Shiocton, and are asking those with more information about the incident to contact local authorties at 1-800-TIP-WDNR.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, February 10th, 2016. Host Marc Drewek began the show talking to Gordy Pagel, representing the Northeast Wisconsin Sport Fishing Show happening at the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh, WI this weekend February 12th-14th. Following up was Greg Karch of Learn 2 Fish with Us, and he talked to us about how they're making a difference getting children involved in the outdoors. Greg and his organization will be hanging out at the show weekend. Adam Glickman of Honest Musky TV joined the show later, and talked about himself and his upcoming appearence in Oshkosh. Also, Marc had on Matt Klatti who's representing the Fat Cupid Classic Bike Race, also happening this weekend at Lecker Park in Grand Chute.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016. Host Marc Drewek began the show talking with Mike Hibbard, director of Mosquito Hill Nature Center near New London, WI. Mike gave us dates of events to check out at the nature center coming up, including their Musky Magic event happening this Saturday February 6th, at the Hortonville Middle School. Joining Marc after was Mark Derricks, representative for Walleyes For Tomorrow. Mark filled us in on what they do supporting walleye fishing, and how you can participate in their annual banquet coming up Thursday February 11th. Al Schaefer, director of the Kimberly Recreation Association, joined Marc later to talk about the KRA putting on their 6th annual ice fishing jamboree for all ages at Shawano Lake this Saturday February 6th.

Host Marc Drewek dedicated the hour to ice fishing, and brought on a few guests to give us their fishing reports from around the state. Kurt Justice of Kurt's Island Bait Shop in Minocqua joined us first for his report of the fishing activity around his area. Stan Hacker of Hacker's Bait and Tackle in Shawno would follow up with his ice fishing report. And Rick Frye of The Reel Shot in Appleton would deliver his report of the ice fishing scene from around the Winnebago system.

Jim was on to help promote the All-Canada Show that's running from January 21-24 at the Radisson Conference Center, and is everything Canada from what our neighbors to the north have to offer us outdoors enthusiasts. Later, Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson joined Marc Drewek the rest of the show for your monthly "Ask a Game Warden" show. Your chance to be heard on outdoor related topics with your questions and comments as the cold winter continues. Ryan first gave us a report on the ice conditions he's seen around the area. He also touched on topics such as: snowmobile trail passes, bear hunting, and the new licencing system coming soon called Go Wild.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, December 16th, 2015. This was the last live show of the year, and host Marc Drewek was out in Iowa on a deer hunt for the week. So Marc's outdoors sidekick Randy Brochtrup sat in as host and welcomed in Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson for your monthly "Ask a Game Warden" show. Your chance to be heard on outdoor related topics with your questions and comments as the wet-winter season slowly creeps along. The guys started off talking about the fall deer hunting season and the new rules that came into affect during the season. They also talked about other observations along with the deer numbers taken from the hunt. Later they took some callers questions and wrapped up the show with a mention of some rules and regulations to know for snow mobiling when the snow does show up. Plus as a bonus, Marc checked in briefly for an update on his deer hunt from Iowa.
