This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, June 15th, 2016.  Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson and DNR trainee Justin Mueller, joined host Marc Drewek for your monthly "Ask a Game Warden" show.  Your chance to be heard on outdoor related topics with your questions and comments as the summer rages on.  The guys started off with a fishing report on Lake Winnebago.  They also touched on ATV/UTV safety and regulations to know when out on the trails.  And they made mentioned some changes coming to game bird and deering hunting this fall.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, June 8th, 2016.  Host Marc Drewek would have a couple of guests in for this week's show.  David Potter first again joined us to talk about the upcoming Star & Stripes Shoot on July 9th at the Viking Bow and Gun Club in Valders, WI.  This event is open for shooting enthusiasts to be alongside out military heroes and shoot for fun to help support Camp American Legion and Camp Hometown Heroes.  Navigate through www.wilegion.org for more information about this great event.  Later in the show, Marc talked to Earl Stahl, who wrote the book: Wolves at Your Door.  They both talked about the wolf population here in Wisconsin and nationwide, and their impact on the outdoors landscape in relation to other animals and us humans.  Earl's book can be found on Amazon.com for your copy.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, May 25th, 2016.  Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson and his guest, Conservation Warden Supervisor Chris Shea, joined host Marc Drewek for your monthly "Ask a Game Warden" show.  Your chance to be heard on outdoor related topics with your questions and comments as we're on the edge of the start to the summer outdoors season.  The guys went heavy talking about boating regulations and safety for the hour.  Among the several topics they would specifically talk about were: life jackets and their importantace out on the water, federal waterways and some regulations to keep in mind, and a review of the bow fishing season.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, April 27th, 2016.  Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson joined host Marc Drewek and his outdoors sidekick Randy Brochtrup for your monthly "Ask a Game Warden" show.  Your chance to be heard on outdoor related topics with your questions and comments as the spring outdoors season continues.  The guys started the show talking about the recent mentored turkey hunt that they participated in.  The guys also touched on the new Go Wild system in relation to turkey hunting, and what you need to know when registering your kill.  Later, Marc and Randy talked about the recently held DNR spring hearings, and what took place at the meeting they went to in Waupaca County.  Ryan then capped the show talking about an important invasive species known as the Round Goby, and what to do when you encounter them while fishing.  They can't be used as fishing bait, and can do damage to aquatic life/species if left ignored.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, April 13th, 2016.  Host Marc Drewek would welcome back his outdoors sidekick Randy Brochtrup, and spend the hour talking about the recent Waupaca County Deer Advisory Council (CDAC) vote to unanimously ban buck hunting this season. The vote means that it's antlerless kills only during both bow and gun season in the county.  Marc and Randy shared their opinions, along with taking several calls from listeners on the topic.  Coming up April 18th- 21st, CDACs in every county across the state will meet with the public for final recommendations. You can find meeting dates in your county at the Wisconsin DNR website.  Coming up April 19th at 7 p.m, the CDAC will hold a public forum meeting at Waupaca High School for Waupaca County residence.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, April 6th, 2016.  Host Marc Drewek spent the hour talking turkey hunting, as the season's just begun across parts of Wisconsin.  Marc brought back on an old friend of the show and turkey hunting enthusiast/expert Carl Luedke.  They spent most of the show talking about an upcoming turkey hunt the two are taking to Wyoming.  Carl also shared tactics and tips throughout the show, while dropping some memories on some of their past hunts.  (REMINDER: In every county across the state on April 11th at 7pm, the statewide DNR spring hearings take place and they're open to the public to participate.  Check the Wisconsin DNR website for the location in your county to attend.)
